In a major boost for AI-driven governance, the AI Research Center for Community Development has secured ₱1 million in external funding for its latest initiative—the University Policy Hub with AI-Driven Question & Answering Using BERT. The University Policy Hub will serve as a centralized digital platform, utilizing BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) to enhance policy accessibility and comprehension. The project is funded under the PCIEERD Good Governance through Data Science and Decision Support System (GODDESS) 2024 initiative, supported by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD).
